Road Puppy Bicycle By Shimura

This vintage folding bicycle was made in Occupied Japan by the Shimura Seiki Co. LTD, Pat. no.181909 ETC .This Bike is the Civilian model of the Bicycle used by Japanese Paratroopers in WW2. The adjustable seat is covered with the original leather and the bike folds in the middle as well as handle bars and pedals are adjustable. The badges are all enamel and I believe this is to be a very original bike with exception I am not sure if both of the wheels are original or not. The bike is very unique and would make a wonderful addition to a collection or museum.
